16TH INTERNATIONAL LASER COURSE and
4TH COURSE ON TRANSORAL ROBOTIC SURGERY (TORS)
in the field of head and neck oncology, the CO2 laser became one of the most important tools and meanwhile surgeons cannot spare it. Beside the application of laser technology in oncology there are several other areas for its use in the field of otorhinolaryngology.
All these topics, starting with laser stapedotomy up to laser surgical resection of hypopharyngeal carcinomas will be discussed and taught in this course, to which we want to cordially invite you. Beside transoral laser surgery, which will be certainly one focus of our course, transoral robotic surgery (TORS) turned out to be another excellent application in our discipline. This will be the second focus of our course, presentations and hands-on training in robotic surgery.
Consideration for which disease can be treated preferably with which system will be presented by international experts, highly reputed in the mentioned fields. However, we will not only discuss ENT specific aspects, interaction between the participants and exchange between colleagues on a national and also international level are equally important. All of these objectives will be pursued in our old University town of Marburg with its long tradition. This university was founded in 1527 and is therefore the oldest protestant university in the world.
We are looking forward to see you very soon.
